The Harris Museum
The Harris Museum is a glorious Grade 1 listed neoclassical architectural grandee. The history galleries are housed in the largest single museum space in the north of England. The room had been unsympathetically altered with the insertion of a mezzanine floor and other uncomfortable physical interventions. Working with conservation architects, Buttress Fuller Alsop Williams, we restored the original arrangement of the gallery and designed new crisp clean modern exhibits using the generous ceiling heights to advantage and allowing appreciation of the interior design as well as the collections and displays.
