This visitor centre in Edale is at the heart of the Peak District National Park and a favoured starting point for ramblers and walkers. The interpretive exhibits are largely concerned with telling the story of contemporary threats to raised peat bogs and moorland  and the conservation work undertaken by the ‘Moors for the Future’ partnership to repair and protect the habitats. The exhibit designs include an interactive 3D map with navigation games and animated map reading lessons.
